For anyone that would like to try, we will have an Africa Map challenge on the Promethean Board while we do our group class activity. You can go up to the Board and try to label all of the countries of Africa. We had 17 students do it last year; and one who also labeled all of the capitals.
The student on the Explorer Team with the quickest time will earn a pizza lunch for them and 2/3 friends. Here is a link to the online map game for all of Africa if you would like to practice:
