If you did not bring in an orange today and would like to perform the orange mummy lab at home, here is the link for instructions on how to do it. Again, we used baking soda (instead of bicarbonate of soda) and it seemed that thick duct tape worked fine (instead of the crepe bandage). Mr. Zimmer also has the leftover ingredients in class (minus the oranges) if you would like to turn your orange into a mummy during class, help session, or lunch.
